Welcomes students to apply for the first year of cycles I and II in the academic year 2018/2019

The Faculty offers the possibility of applying for the following two study programs:
- Chemical Engineering and Technology, 240 ECTS, comprising 4 modules:
- Chemical Process Engineering and Technology
- Food Technology
- Environmental Engineering
- Occupational Safety and Fire Protection
- Biology, 240 ECTS
Entrance requirements
Candidates who have completed a four-year secondary school and passed the entrance exam can apply for the first cycle within a limited number of enrolment places for students financed from the budget of the government of the Republic of Srpska and for co-financed students.
The following documents are submitted in the application:
- birth certificate,
- original certificates for every completed grade of secondary education,
- original certificate for a completed graduation exam, or final exam,
- application form (issued at the Faculty’s student administration office)
- payment slip for the entrance exam costs.

Entrance exam
Candidates who are applying for Chemical Engineering and Technology study program choose ONE of the following subjects for their entrance exam:
- Mathematics,
- Chemistry, or
- Physics.
Candidates who are applying for Biology study program must take Biology AND Chemistry for their entrance exam.

Candidates must bring their personal IDs (identification card or passport) to the entrance exam.
Ranking of candidates
The process of selection of candidates for the first year is based on the following:
- General score gained in the secondary school
- Entrance exam results.
а) General score form the secondary school refers to the average score in all the subjects from all the four grades of secondary education times 10. Maximum number that a candidate can achieve is thus 50.
б) Entrance exam is obligatory regardless of the number of candidates applied. Maximum number of points is 50.
The total number of points based on which the candidates are ranked is the sum of the previous two scores and equals 100 maximum.
Ranking of candidates is unique for the chosen study program. The placement on the list determines whether a candidate can be enrolled in the first year, as well as whether they will be in the category of tuition-free (financed by the budget of the government of the Republic of Srpska) candidates or co-financed candidates.
The amount of tuition for full-time students in the category of co-financing for the study programs on the first and the second cycle in all public higher-education institutions for academic year 2018/2019 is determined by the Government of the Republic of Srpska.

Enrolment of the admitted candidates
The following documents are submitted for enrolment:
- 2 photographs, 5x6cm,
- medical exam certificate (general health results and psychiatric test results)
- payment slip (guidelines for payment are given at the student administration office)
- citinzenship certificate
Candidates who meet the requirements but who do not enroll before the envisaged deadline will lose the right to enroll. The Faculty will enroll the candidate who is next on the list instead.

Master’s program
Entrance requirements
- application form,
- birth certificate,
- citizenship certificate, not older than 6 months,
- original or certified copy of the diploma on completed first cycle of studies or undergraduate studies,
- certificate of completed examinations in the first cycle of studies,
- curriculum and syllabus of the first cycle studies (if the candidate has completed previous studies at another institution).
